Your body is working tirelessly to ensure things work perfectly all the time e.g. if cells become sick, they are programed to die. Chronic diseases occur when the body is overburdened and starts to malfunction…

The traditional model of medical care works superbly in acute illnesses like infections, broken bones etc. However, it only provides a band-aid solution to chronic diseases. This model is fire-fighting – treat each symptom as it occurs but never looking deep enough to put that fire out permanently.
Lifestyle diseases like diabetes and heart disease require lifestyle solutions, and not medications. I never realized that diabetes could be reversed until I opened my eyes to the world of lifestyle medicine.
I successfully weaned my husband off his blood pressure medication, dropped his cholesterol by 1/3 (and also helped others with similar issues), combatted my own fatigue/brain fog, ALL with food and lifestyle changes.
